The Derailed Bike Shop

We were exploring uptown Butte and stumbled upon The Derailed Bike Shop—what a great find! We were warmly greeted and even given a quick tour of the shop. It’s not overflowing with excess inventory; instead, they carry only the essentials… but only the best essentials. Our two kiddo boys were looking for new helmets, and the manager helped us find perfect fits for both of them. Yep, we also picked up some Hammer gels and chain lube before heading out. Photos to follow. Friendly service, quality gear, and a real focus on what actually matters. We left happy. Thx Butte! Keep it going please.

Great service to GDMBR riders. Opens at 1100 but super fast service thereafter. Austin retaped my DT Swiss rim so I am again enjoying a tubeless ride. Thanks Janice.

Walked in with no apointment and Austin was able to give my bicycle a look over, recommend some repairs and then did them. How great is that? All the while keeping a very affable demeanor. Thank you.

Awesome bike shop who go above and beyond. I came asking for help with bike transportation for the Great Divide and Austin could not have been more helpful. Recommended. Go try for yourself. You wont be disappointed

Riding the GDMBR and I ended up walking into the shop on a Friday afternoon with a seized rear hub. Austin was amazing, let me use a repair stand, tools and we got the problem diagnosed in time to get parts shipped overnight to my motel. Austin also lent me the tools I'd need to reassemble everything on Saturday when the shop was closed. He even drove my now rear wheel less bike over to the Motel after closing up. Amazing service, super nice guy! Can't recommend enough!
